SPOTLIGHT: Engaging High Schoolers
Our Strategy:
High school students today use social media regularly and with tremendous familiarity. Riggs Partners sought a way to access this trend and use it for the benefit of the already social media-active local Moe’s Southwest Grill franchises. The resulting idea was a highly spirited, fast-paced social media competition engaging the Columbia area’s local high schools.
The Moe’s High School Facebook Challenge
Students were encouraged to “Like” the Moe’s Columbia Facebook page and register a vote for their school by posting on the page’s wall. The school whose student body logged the most votes with respect to its total student population by the contest’s conclusion a month later earned a Free Burrito Day.
