Riggs Partners and Central Carolina Community Foundation Launch Talk About Giving Initiative
Riggs Partners and Central Carolina Community Foundation have announced the launch of Talk About Giving, an interactive community initiative designed to foster a spirit of philanthropy in today’s generation. The program, which is managed by the Central Carolina Community Foundation, provides timely resources and tools to help families instill the importance of giving into the lives of their children and grandchildren.
Initially developed during CreateAthon, the idea for Talk About Giving has grown into a long-term initiative designed to address a significant need. “Research shows that most families place importance on their children developing into charitable adults, but that few actually explain to their children the importance of giving to others,” said JoAnn Turnquist, president and CEO of Central Carolina Community Foundation.
Riggs Partners worked with CCCF to develop branding, strategy, and messaging for the initiative. “I believe the greatest gift we can give our children is to teach them to have generous spirits,” said Cathy Monetti, who is the brand manager for the program.
