In the wake of the Emanuel Nine Massacre, we were honored to add Charleston, SC, nonprofit Gun Sense as a CreateAthon® client. Our recommendation: rebrand the organization to bring moderate gun owners into the fold and boost credibility, while petitioning conservative state legislators for common sense reforms like universal background checks.

The notion behind the brand: we don’t have to choose between protecting the Second Amendment and protecting our loved ones from gun violence, a belief perpetuated by extremists. So we created the platform for a groundswell movement across party lines to shift the conversation from polarity thinking around gun control to deliberate dialogue about responsible gun ownership and legislation.
